Larry has lived on South Fork Mountain since 1976.  He has been involved in SAFE since the beginning and is currently President. He is quite active in environmental activism.

Larry owns and operates The Works record/tape/CD stores in Arcata and Eureka. He is now a representative of SAFE on the Board of Directors of the Northcoast Environmental Center in Arcata, California, and the Chair of the Board of Directors and President of South Fork Mountain Defense Council, a 501(c)(3) in Mad River, California, which is active in monitoring natural resource management activities in the South Fork of the Trinity River area. He is also a Eureka city Councilman.
